Prudential Confirms Malaysian Operations Affected by Global MOVEit Data Breach

Prudential confirmed that its Malaysian operations, Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) and Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad (PruBSN), were affected by the global MOVEit data breach, which exploited a zero-day vulnerability. Upon discovering the intrusion, Prudential isolated the affected servers, launched a comprehensive investigation, and notified relevant authorities. Prudential's related operations remain fully functional with no impact on customer businesses.
