Prudential plc CEO Anil Wadhwani met with Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, emphasizing India's importance as a core strategic market for Prudential. Prudential has life insurance and asset management joint ventures in India in partnership with ICICI. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to establish an independent health insurance joint venture with Vama Sundari Investments (Delhi) Private Limited, part of the HCL Group.
