Prudential Group Releases 2022 Interim Results

Prudential Group announced its 2022 first-half continuing operations results: APE sales reached 2.213 billion US dollars, up 9% year-on-year at constant exchange rates; new business profit was 1.098 billion US dollars, down 5% year-on-year at constant exchange rates; adjusted operating profit was 1.661 billion US dollars, up 8% year-on-year at constant exchange rates. The group's shareholder GWS capital surplus covered 548% of GMCR and 317% of GPCR, and the first interim dividend for 2022 was 5.74 US cents per share, up 7% year-on-year.
