Prudential Announces Appointment of Sir Douglas Flint as Board Chair, Succeeding Shriti Vadera

Prudential has announced the appointment of Sir Douglas Flint CBE as incoming Board Chair, succeeding Shriti Vadera, who will step down after the Annual General Meeting on May 28, 2026. Subject to regulatory approval, Sir Douglas is expected to join the Board in March 2026, and will also join the Nominating and Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee. He brings over four decades of experience in the financial industry, having held senior roles at HSBC Holdings for many years, including Group Chief Financial Officer and Group Chairman.
