    Prudential Group appoints new leadership for Prudential Health India business

    Prudential Group has announced the appointment of Amit Dave as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Prudential Health India (subject to regulatory approval), and Abhishek Saraf as Chief Operating Officer. Amit Dave succeeds outgoing Amar Joshi and brings over 20 years of insurance industry experience. The two will drive the development of Prudential’s health business in India, including securing regulatory approvals and building differentiated health products.

    Prudential announces second interim dividend for 2025

    Prudential has declared a second interim dividend of 18.89 US cents per share for 2025. UK and Hong Kong registered shareholders will receive dividends in GBP and HKD respectively by default, with an option to receive dividends in USD. The deadline for USD election is April 21, 2026; the corresponding GBP and HKD amounts per share are expected to be announced on April 28, 2026. The ex-dividend date is March 26, 2026, and the dividend payment date is May 13, 2026. A scrip dividend option is available for this dividend, applicable only to Hong Kong-listed shares, while UK registered shareholders may opt for the Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

    Prudential research finds financial well-being in Asia declines gradually with age

    Prudential has released its inaugural Asia Financial Well-being Index, surveying 7,707 adults aged 18-60 across 8 Asian markets, with an overall score of 58.9 out of 100. The 18-35 age group scored highest at 59.8, while the 50-60 age group scored lowest at 57.7, showing a gradual decline with increasing age. Vietnam ranked first in the region with a score of 65.1, while Hong Kong ranked last at 52.5. Only 18% of respondents believe they have access to the financial services needed to achieve financial success.
