What does Colin Capital primarily offer?
A planning-led service: we help HNW families, entrepreneurs, and institutions clarify objectives, risk boundaries, cash flow needs, and asset structure into an executable, reviewable IPS framework. Product execution is carried out by appropriately licensed platforms.
Do you sell funds, stocks, or insurance?
We do not begin with product sales. We build the planning framework first, then determine the role and boundary of each tool. Sales, account opening, trading, underwriting, and servicing are handled by licensed platforms.
What is an IPS?
An Investment Policy Statement defines a client’s objectives, risk constraints, allocation principles, liquidity needs, rebalancing rules, discipline, and review mechanism — the core document of long-term wealth management.
Which clients suit an IPS?
Typically those with complex structures — multiple accounts, currencies, geographies, or generations — or who need balance across safety, growth, liquidity, succession, and cross-border allocation. HNW families, entrepreneurs, and institutional treasurers may all qualify.
What should I prepare for the first call?
The first call is about 30 minutes and needs no complex preparation. We start from objectives, structure, cash flow, risk preference, and main arrangements to form an initial view on whether further planning is needed.
What are the deliverables of formal planning?
Depending on client type and scope, these may include an information questionnaire, personal balance sheet, goals inventory, risk profiling report, priority matrix, cash flow projection, the Investment Policy Statement, and an implementation plan.
How are fees calculated?
A consultation fee applies to the initial call. Formal planning fees are typically based on investable assets and cover the full planning process, core documents, and implementation guidance. Final fees are subject to formal confirmation.
Is there a client threshold?
Formal planning typically suits households above a certain level of investable assets, to keep service depth and complexity aligned with client needs; final assessment applies.
Do you guarantee returns?
No. Colin Capital does not guarantee returns or use short-term performance as a service promise. We focus on long-term structure, risk boundaries, cash flow, and discipline.
How do you protect client privacy?
HNW clients’ assets, identity, family, and cross-border arrangements are highly sensitive. We follow principles of necessity, authorization, and prudent information handling, with data use defined by formal agreement.
Is there ongoing follow-up after planning?
Yes. The IPS is not a one-off document but a long-term framework. As a client’s assets, the market, and life stage change, the document is reviewed, updated, and adjusted at an agreed cadence.
Does this website constitute investment advice?
No. The content is for business introduction and general information only and does not constitute solicitation, sales commitment, return guarantee, or investment advice. Specifics are subject to formal agreements and licensed-institution documents.
